Tracey’s Top Pick Books

I read all sorts of books and for the most part they are geared to self development. I feel at any age it’s not to late to get better, learn more, understand and try new ways of thinking. I will be posting books and giving reviews on what I thought, what I got out of them or how they effected me. Feel free to post what you thought if you read the book!

Praying Women – by Sheila Walsh

Prayer is important to me but sometimes knowing how to pray is what I have always wondered. And if I pray wrong will my prayer not be answered. I often wonder that when my son was in a coma. If I was praying right or if God was listening. Then when he passed I thought it was that I was doing it wrong or I did something wrong. That was 6 1/2 years ago and yet today I still wonder. This book will help me understand that there isn’t a standard way to pray but to just pray. That the power of prayer is bigger than itself. Even if it doesn’t go the direction you thought it should.

Greenlights – by Matthew McConaughey

Want to get to know Matthew better and understand why and how he got to be where he is today. Motivational, down to earth, straightforward book. He tells as it was, as it is, and some of his powerful words of not giving up. It’s a great read!
