Fishing Lake Michigan June 1, 2019. Not such a successful year with the Great Lake waters! We headed out at 6AM on our charter (Kitchen Pass III) who mind you is a wonderful charter and a great crew. At no fault of theirs a wonderful Wisconsin storm started to brew. Out about 1 mile in the cold frigid water where the water ended up to be colder than usual at this time driving any of the big ones our way the storm keep brewing. 9:30AM our caption Dale asked if we would be okay to call our trip to an end because of the threat of the weather that was to come. Being the caption and him being way more experienced than any of us, we agreed to head back to shore. Skunked in Lake of Michigan with no fish but arrived to shore just in time for the storm to hit! . Until next time Lake Michigan!
